New Year
A New Year Filled with, Hope/Faith, Peace, Love and Joy
UCOL’s theme this year is, “We spring forth with Zeal to do the work that is Ours to do!” I take time daily to envision a growing, thriving community where those seeking solace from the challenges life often brings can come and fill up on the Truth as taught by Jesus Christ.
The lessons learned during the advent season, Hope/Faith, Peace, Love and Joy are the master plan for bringing this to light. We have mastered the ‘Hope’ part, we know it is where we begin in human consciousness. Hope births Faith, faith will carry us through to manifestation. Matthew 17:20 reminds us of these words Jesus spoke to the disciples, “…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” kjv Together we can hold a consciousness of the great faith which Jesus spoke about and the mountains that appear can be moved.
As a spiritual community we reach out with ‘Peace” in our hearts, we may not fully understand the workings of spiritual laws, but we rest and trust in the process. Peace is not doing absolutely nothing, it is listening to Spirit and putting feet to the ideas that are open to us. A seed begins its growth in the peace and quiet of the earth and as a grain of mustard seed, it can grow beyond measure.
As we sow seeds of being a beacon, we add the great harmonizer of all…’Love.’ We enfold all that we do here at UCOL in love. We are the love that will attract to us what we desire…one body making a difference in the Universe. I read a quote, “moving forward requires the power to start,” we have that power, and this is the beginning!
Joy is defined as a feeling of magnificent pleasure and happiness. When we spring forth with zeal to do the work that is ours to do, as stated in the scriptures; ‘the windows of heaven (realm of divine ideas) will open for us and pour out a blessing so great we won’t have enough room to take it in’! That is pure Joy!
